seekers and open to the public. Employers are invited to recruit for full-time, part-time,

Get ready for the Great Lakes Bay Job Fair- join us for this Job Fair 101 workshop where we will feature three local employers who have attended the job fair and know what they are looking for in top candidates. You'll learn how to:
-Get an employer's attention
-How to do your pre-job fair research
-Develop your elevator pitch
-How to follow-up after the fair
It is a good idea to maintain and update your r茅sum茅. Having a polished r茅sum茅 can sometimes make or break your odds of getting the job!

Come to this workshop if you want to turn your resume from generic to impactful. You'll hear from an HR expert who has seen thousands of resumes and knows what makes your resume worth reading. In this workshop you will learn:
-How to showcase your experience
-Resume Do's & Don'ts
-Write impactful bullets
-Make it your own
Can't make it to the workshop? Here are some other resources to bring your r茅sum茅 up to par:
Attend an in person, online or pre-recorded workshop to improve your r茅sum茅, your interview skills or prepare you for the job fair.
Don't be fooled by it's name. Big Interview offers way more than interview tips (but you might need that too!). This online resource offers training in r茅sum茅 and cover letter preparation.
Arrive early! Get the lay of the land and locate what employers you want to talk with. Keep an open mind for organizations you are unfamiliar with. They might have something perfect for you!
Want to look your best for the job fair, but don't have anything to wear? Check out ! 暗网吃瓜 students can shop free at the on-campus reuse store that provides gently used, professional clothing, at no cost to you.
Come up with a brief introduction of yourself. Include some of your past, positive work experience or skills, what you like about the company and why you would be interested in that company. You are marketing for yourself!
Side note: don't bring up salary or benefits at this point unless they talk about it first.
